Hi there. I happened to stumble on this site while looking at a US gun boards forum. Great to have a Canadian site as our stuff has a few different things.
I'm an X RCEME gun plumber and have loved guns all my life. I've never considered myself as a gun nut untill I realized that I had just bought a second SKS. I mean really, why 2? But then I think you all would understand.
Being a former military gunsmith I know a lot about a little bit and a little bit about a lot. I prefer rifles with wood funiture and preferabley military.
I don't hunt anymore simply becaus I am too lazy and do my hunting in the Safeway stores. I target shoot as much as I can. I have trouble keeping my hands off of guns that need tweeking and have to restrain myself from refinishing battered old collectables.
That's about all about me. I will enjoy this site and hope to learn a lot.

Nice to have you with us. It's a joy to bring some tired old veteran firearm back to "almost new". I'm considering a some work on a 1945 Long Branch Lee Enfield. Over its travels in England, they put some british hardware on the old guy (one barrel band, trigger guard, etc.) and I'm thinking about ordering the parts from the guy who has almost all of the left over inventory from the old Canadian Arsenals Ltd.
