Not intending to part with any of my R-55s. Might even ask to be buried with mine.

It is the plinker of choice for me and my two boys, so with each of us having one, it keeps the fights down to a minimum.
Try to be patient as it would be worth the wait to own one. There are not many all-steel semi-auto rimfire rifles out there that are as reliable and accurate as the R-55. I have a few Annies including a couple of 54.18 MSRs and a 2013 BR-50 and I can tell you that the R-55 is no slouch in the accuracy department against these far more expensive rifles.
Don't know why the T/C R-55 didn't sell better given its performance and cheap price? It's truly a shame that T/C discontinued these fine rimfires.
