If you shoot a moose in PQ can the two hunters who tagged it, continue to party hunt with other members of the group? Refering to non-residents if it matters.

Thanks

Nope....Once tagged you are done....Best take fishin rods, but remember to buy a licence for that also.

And do not get caught calling moose for some one else with a rifle in hand. They consider that as hunting a moose.Fellow I know of lost his hunting for two years over that mistake.

the definitions are here :

http://www.mrn.gouv.qc.ca/english/publications/online/wildlife/hunting-regulations/general-regulations/definitions.asp

"To hunt" means to pursue, chase, harass, stalk, mutilate, call, follow after, lie in wait of or search for an animal or attempt to do so, while in the possession of an arm, or to shoot, kill or capture an animal or attempt to do so, except by trapping it. "To trap" is limited to the capturing of a fur-bearing animal with a trap, or attempting to do so.

so not a surprise for a friend he should have now ... so if the tag is taggeg out no more hunting it s very simple and avoid poaching or attempt ...
