Tracer Rounds in Alberta?

Is it legal to shoot tracers in Alberta, no hunting just plinking?

I believe tracer ammo is legal to shoot, just be careful not to start a fire

Check your club's range license, if it allows tracer. Otherwise if you start a fire, you could end up on the hook for a big bill for the cost of putting out any fires you start. Or just don't use them until there is snow on the ground!

people look at you weird. everyone stops shooting. someone asks "hey....where'd you get tracer?"

Didn't realize i was shooting tracer. couldn't figure out what the red glow behind the butts was after the first couple shots. from behind thats all I could see. everyone else saw them go out. Definatly answered my question of "hey, why are these tips green and these ones arn't"
