Ok, first off...lucky to get one of the first batch. Second....pretty friggin accurate. Vortex sparc 2 MOA red dot I picked off water bottles with ease @100yds... no problem. Next.. after 84 rounds the BCG needed no attention, although I did inspect it just for fun. Trigger is CRISP. Not two stage but pretty nice, much better then the Norc M4... as far as when the trigger breaks. Also, it's super light... Pmags are tight at first, LAR10's drop free.. haven't had a chance to try other mags. Both of these mags worked fine.

The foregrip kit is A PAIN IN THE ASS to install. I can't go any further with that comment. It looks and feels nice when it's done, however the origional folding bi-pod feels and looks nice too, especially with the rear stock kit installed.

Ok I guess you want a more detaild account of it's accuracy...

well it's sub 1/4 MOA @250yds.. pretty sweet. :D
It bump fires with ease..:D So i've seen on youtube :p

Sorry I didn't get to technicall with this....

Kidding it's closer to 1 MOA @100 yards with the sparc,, you will love it.

How's the construction? Does it feel like a toy or a "real gun"?

These are the two things that I'm really wondering about in regards to this rifle.

Nice setup by the way. I like the one with the Sparc.

It feels like a toy!

It seems like it works well though.

Definitely worth the $500 they go for down south.

However not worth the $800 + goodies you will pay for it up here!

It has a glock hi strength polymer type of feel to it. Modern and light. the first time you cycle the bolt you realize it's no toy.... it's pure justice, and worth the money.

I call it the Glock of the 223. Now we will have to wait 10 years to see how it holds up and I do agree that these need a price adjustment but not like Vault cares as they got the monoploy on anything KelTec coming into the contry.

That's what I am thinking. When the Glocks first started rolling out all you heard was plastic junk/ tupperware/ toy gun - won't hold up.... Everyone's singing a different tune now that's for sure. Like Glocks or not no one can call them an unreliable firearm. Hopefully the Kel-Tec's will follow the same pattern - the potential is certainly there.

I don't think it's that they won't hold up.

It's just not worth the price tag.

It's like selling a knife for custom prices but it's made of cheap steel.

I have a Glock, and it is worth the price. The fit and finish is perfect.

The SU16 molding and seems in the plastic are nowhere close to the finish of the Glock.

Like I said. These guns are made to be 500 dollar guns, and the Sub 2000 is made to be a 300 dollar gun. Vault rapes us and charges almost double what these things are actually worth.

Your not paying for an 800 dollar gun, and you definitely aren't getting one!

Like I said though it works well, and if you like it it fits the niche very well.

I would rather have a mini 14 though.

At least I know if I run outta ammo I can hit someone with it. ;)

The Keltec..........not so much.

I don't mind the look of the original forgrips, and I think the bipod option is great. There's buckets of Ar's out there, it doesn't need to look like one. Can you still fold the stock with ar adapter? It doesn't look like it...

Yeah, notice that right away as well. Not a big concern, it won't be a display piece.

haha, I wouldn't trust it, but there it is.

I love hearing 1moa.

According to KTOG, I measured the the barrel around .618" and that's thicker then the original A model barrel.

Plus Vault is buying the guns at a dealer cost, so the markup is all that much more.

I think what turned me off is the way the butt stock with the two mag. pouches flaps around like a Gull's wing. That just didn't seem right. I didn't read any comments about the AR15 butt stock or how solid it is, but part of the appeal for me is the rifle butt stock, in fact, I wonder if I can find one for an AR?

Well, not to get off topic, but importing guns is risky. You have to deal with the risk of the U.S. State Department not approving export. You have to deal with the risk of Canada not approving import. You have to deal with the risk that you might import things, and then have them restricted/prohibited before you can sell them. You have the risk that one day you might get sued in some crazy gun lawsuit. You have the risk that officers or bureaucrats with an anti-gun agenda might restrict things above and beyond the law.

On the other hand, I placed an order for a Kel Tec product, and I didn't have to put any money up front. I accepted zero risk.

They put a lot of money up front, and take a risk of losing that money. It is only fair that they are compensated for doing so.

Yep its a business and your in it to make money, if you feel its to much pass on it, if enough people pass then things MAY change, but like with most keltec stuff it fly's of the shelf's in Canada.

Back to the su16, i wish they would have given us a sight adjustment tool for the front sight.
