Remmy VTR stock on an SPS Tactical???

It will fit. I wouldn't go out and buy one for that purpose though as it isn't going to be a great improvement. The SPS stock isn't the greatest but it isn't as bad as some would have you believe. To see a dramatic improvement go for a real aftermarket stock not another Remy factory one.

Depends what caliber the VTR is. If it is 308 or 223 size it will be short
Any of the 06 based calibers or magnums will be a long action
The SPS I have is 308....... If the VTR stock is off a 223 will it fit?

Yes it will, the mag follower is the only thing that is different beteen the 2 rifles, other than the barrel caliber.

i don't think they ever made a long action calibre vtr...i could be wrong though
