Model 870™ SPS™ Shurshot™ Synthetic Super Slug Gun For Deer??

Im looking for a slug gun and thought that the Remington Super Slug would be a nice choice as it seems to be just what im looking for.
Anyone have the gun or have any thoughts on it?
I will be using it just for deer and maybe take it out for coyote. Should I go with the cantilever or weaver rail ?

I got rid of my cantilever barrel because I didnt like the checkweld I was getting, and bought another 870 with rifle sights. Im waiting to get smaller rings as Im not going to be using the iron sights either. A few upgrades I thought about was getting the barrel pinned to the receiver and a Knoxx Spec Ops stock.

In all I think it will suit you just fine!

I find the cantilever barrel excellent with a good red/green dot scope mounted. This thing is getting tighter 100 yard results with sabot slugs than a number of hunting rifles in my collection! A quick spray with Rem Oil after each use and this thing will likely give me years of great service. :)

Bring this thread back because I'm thinking about getting one. Here in southern ontario you can only use shotguns or bow for deer and I have heard this super slug gun is the next best thing to a rifle.

Anyone have one of these ? Is it accurate at longer distances ?

Back when i posted this i was thinking on buying it but passed it up as im now setting up a savage 220 slug gun. The savage is more accurate and less money.
