found some coyotes

i found some dogs to othere day 4 of them took down a cafe and were about 25 yards off to the right side of the road as i drove buy. i want to know if i need a license to shoot them dog. i stopped and told the farmer what i saw and he invitted me to come back for a hunt on his land for them dogs i just want to know if i can hunt with him

Consult your province's hunting regulations. It differs by province. In Alberta coyotes are fair game year round on private land (assuming you own it or have permission). On crown land the rules are slightly different, can't do it year round.

You only need a licence if you want to play by the rules...lol.
Coyotes are vermin and need to be shot on sight for good reason.

I think a small game licence is what you need in southern Ontario... Let the bullets fly for coyote!.

Saskatchewan residents do not need a license to shoot coyotes in Saskatchewan.

In Ontario you need a hunting license and small game tag, but season is open year round.

not in sask its not. Just can't shoot across or alongside a road. But most certainly can shoot from a road considering all other variables are legal ie >500m from livestock or a residence, permission on land, daylite, etc,etc
