Do you guys think they will sell off the P225's?
You really haven't been paying attention have you?
#1 The forces will melt/destroy any guns that are being decommissioned.
#2 Sig 225's are prohibited by barrel length so even if they were to be sold, the market is tiny and probably uninterested.

#1 I think your right.
#2 OMG I want one of those 225's! and yes, I am grandfathered.

yes, build a small factory to build the P 2000 here for all Federal Dept's.
Then they can also build HK 45's![]()
You may be grandfathered but the guns aren't. You can't have any either. Welcome to the unwashed masses.![]()
Oh, I already know I'm not getting one. Dosen't change the fact that I still want it. And yes I could buy one that's in the system, but I'd love to have one from the CF.
'Course, I'd love to have a FAL too and that's not happening anytime soon. Maybe some day. Change is possible
Next time you open a can of soup, look hard at the can "the metal used on that can was from the FNs that were melted for scrap"
Injoy your new C1![]()
Man I love it when people talkin these threads, you know who you are

is what's done best here... Doubt it will change the outcome of this contract or purchase. Harmless debate........If there ever was any hope that it could happen (selling to civilians), the time is now. There are thousands of un-issued BHP in preservation at the Depot in Montreal. They will all be melted down just like the FNC1 and SMG. Canada will not sell them off to the civilian market or a foreign goverment.

on it.. LOLThere are thousands of un-issued BHP in preservation at the Depot in Montreal. They will all be melted down just like the FNC1 and SMG. Canada will not sell them off to the civilian market or a foreign goverment.
