Hi Guys,
first of all I have a Collection of beautiful unmolested lee enfields so don't get angry that I want one to be a frankenstein

I have so far built this no.1 MKIII* reblued with an ATI monte carlo stock, and scope mount, with an NCstar scope. It looks great. I just want to make it even better with a custom trigger, ProMag, and Muzzle Brake.

but I cant find a brake for a 303 or a canadian dealer of promags
Anyone know where to shop in Canada for custom parts like that?
thanks
C

Keep your eye open on eBay, as they turn up from time to time ... ;)

My wife uses an add-on Lee-Enfield No.4 muzzle brake. It simply pulls over the muzzle and straps on the bayonet lug. You hand tighten the screw and you're good to go. She uses them on her No.4(T)'s and finds a recoil reduction of at least 50%. She's able to shoot for hours without tiring and makes a day out more enjoyable, although I suppose technically it's cheating as compared to shooting them the way they were issued. :D

BadgerDog, where did you get the muzzle brake from? I'm going to be getting my wife involved in shooting (starting with a .22), but she has a bad shoulder, and anything reasonable (and reversible) to reduce recoil on a No.4 is worth trying.

Looks like a modified grenade launcher...

You guys are getting soft. I only read this thread to watch the carnage as you tore the OP a new one. Now I find people discussing the practicality of muzzle brakes for injuries... I'm speechless...

Here, let me chum the waters a little bit...

OMG, a "TACTICOOLEEENFIELD" in .45acp :D

It does remind me of the De Lisle carbine, you know.

(I'll admit: I can't wait to receive my .45acp kit...)

interesting replies guys!
I still wonder about getting promags in Canada. seems like all the cool websites cant ship to Canada anymore with the new US laws.

I got the sameone from Numrich gunparts out of NY USA but they are out of stock now for some time it is a nice one it makes use of the bayonet lugs so no mods to the the muzzel and works fairly well [it is china made]
