I only noticed this problem last night, my supporting hand could use a bit more grip.

A question for those that do use grip enhancement products, please share what works for you, be it ProGrip, Fast Grip, Prince Grip, rosin bag, chalk ball, etc. Something that's not too messy & won't be a problem when reloading or handling ammo.

Also, where to get it, preferably in GTA since I have a couple of matches coming up this weekend.

TIA.

This is grip tape on top of molded "bump" on a grip. I find it very helpful. It's only allowed in Standard or Open though.
For Production - just put on some grip tape.

I'm too lazy to take a pic right now, but I put som skateboard tape (about a buck at the dollar store) on the front strap of my shadow and it made a world of difference. I would say go with the tape before you start putting powder and glue on your hands.

ProGrip etc are used mostly to reduce sweating of your hands and keep them dry. To get a better grip yu use grip tape all around bu also work on your hand strength.

My hands don't stay dry on long stages so I will try ProGrip, where does one get it?

I use slim aluminum grips on my Shadow, it has a small patch of grip tape on each side. IIRC the tape is allowed on grip sides only, I cannot put it on the back of the frame or under the trigger guard, is that right? I'm shooting production.

Working on my grip strength is not an option at the moment: I have developed tennis elbow on both arms over the past 4-6 months, and exercise makes it worth. So does the shooting, and I'm taking tons of Advil both before and after.

Grip tape on front and back of the grip is fine. There is a picture in the rule book showing where you can apply the tape (can't put it on the trigger guard). Also put more tape on those flat grips.

With pain in your elbows, can't you still work on your wrist and palm strength? There is special exercises for that or you can go rock climbing. :)

Thanks, I'll check the book, had no idea that's allowed!

The elbow pain (just below the elbow, actually) is from inflamed wrist tendons. The more I work my wrists, the worse the pain gets. I've tried all kinds of wrist exercises, and a whole bunch of gadgets. I now shoot with a brace on my strong arm, it helps a bit. Forget rock climbing, I can barely lift a suitcase. :(
