+1, I was thinking the same thing. Considering how easy it was to see the shot pellets it must have been 1/4" or larger. That would mess up your whole day.

My best guess is a camera on a track, which is in the process of panning in the predicted line of trajectory. And of course the camera about 40 frames per second or better.

We use the same round in the Leo2. Unfortunately I never had the opportunity to use it overseas so can not give an end user review of effects. I can tell you that 120mm HEAT will stop fire coming from a grape hut.

Quite a few yrs ago at Ft Knox, KY I fired a couple of cannister or "beehive" rounds out of the 152mm gun on an M551 Sheridan tank. Quite an impressive pattern on a couple of plywood sheets.

The Sheridan was a light, airdroppable tank which was built around the Shillelegh (sp) anti-tank missile. I also fired a couple of the low velocity HEAT rounds. The thing was so light that it seemed to buck like a mule from the recoil.

Like Purple said it's proper name is a cannister round. It is meant to clear massed infantry, light skinned vehicles and dense brush (think Norman hedgerows).

The old Cougar AVGP had a 76mm cannister round, but obviously it was nothing compared to the 120mm.
