300 WSM Dies

I have RCBS they're good but find a the FL size brass not as smooth as factory new. Just a note this maybe only true with my set of die. I'm now lookin to try Redding or Forster FL die to compare, I have use Forster for other calibers and they are great dies.
Full length die is required! Neck size is nice to have!
I agree that Forster is better than RCBS but RCBS are easier to find.
As for the original question: you absolutely need a full length die, end of story.
The neck sizing die is a nice to have and is only needed if you're interested in precision reloading.
I have both for almost all my bolt-action cartridges but always buy the full length die first!

I really like a micrometer seating die, I have bought them for every one of my target rifles. It makes seating depth adjustments much easier and accurate. If I was starting again I would order a redding comp seating die a lee collet neck sizing die and a FL sizer from one of the majors. It covers all the bases, but the seating die is a little spendy.
I have RCBS FL & NS and they work great for my rifles . I do only neck size my brass for my hunting rifles ..........BUT I chamber each round at the range BEFORE hunting season to make sure there are no surprizes when hunting season gets here
