Non-reciprocating AR-15 type cocking handle. It'd be coool.

ah ####. If this comes out I could see something stupid being done by the rcmp stating that the ruger now has the action or some dumb #### as an AR and now it will have to be restricted now. Or something GHEY.

But it does look sweet.

I thought it was a neat idea, it would lend a little more authenticity to all those AR type 10 22 dress ups.

Very interested. Too bad since it fires bullets, the RCMP will say its an AK variant since the AK also fires bullets.

Anyway, does anyone know if they make complete rifles or is it just the action?

They are kind of neat, but I would like to see a video of them in operation before anything else. It may be a bit awkward to use compared to the standard charging handle.

Why would it be any more awkward than 10 million users of C-7's, M-16's, M-4's, AR-15's?

Looks good to me, price seems ok, might want to get one of these myself if they become legal here!

It looks cool, but I'll take an oversized handle on the side of my 10/22 any day over having to pull back on that.

Although if it dropped onto my SR-22, it would look hella cool . . . which it probably won't.

it would be, but it would be the same awkward as an AR, which is the point

How is an AR awkward?!?! In ten years of professional use I found the AR cocking handle the easiest of any firearm I have ever used...I don't even have to rotate the firearm, or take it from aiming downrange, or remove my right hand from the grip: just take the left finger and pull it back, let it slide home, done.

But anyway, it's $175 US just for the receiver, so not that many will likely buy one of these unless they are already sold on the idea, and certainly the standard 1022 handle has been proven for around half a century or so. Besides, it's still unclear if this will ever even be allowed into Canada anyway!
