Semi Auto 17HMR

There were ruger 10/22 and remington 597 variants as far as i know, but they were all sketchy and recalled. There may have been more. I'm wondering when someone will make an AR conversion/upper in 17hmr :) That i just might think of buying :)

I have one and bought my dad one . Both VQ lites both in hmr . Bought a couple 25 rd VQ mags in case we get over run in the gopher patch.

Mitch @ Sylvester sports in bonnyville has a couple in stock
 
I remember Excel Arms made both a semi rifle and semi pistol in .17HMR. They've both been discontinued though.

I don't know the reliability of the Volquartsen, but they're the only ones who still make a semi .17HMR

That would be Remington 597 Not Winchester :D
I watched two 17 HMR 597's blow apart at the range (Dangerous gun )
 
Ruger never actually released one. Close, even printed it in the owners manuals for the other 10/22's, but never made it to the shelves...
 
I've heard mixed results about the excel arms one. there was a rage video on YT somewhere, guy had the pistol version and it was jamming every other shot
