New from Ottawa

New here, from Ottawa. Love guns and trying to find out what it takes to own a firearm in this country.

Your first step is to book your firearms training. The RA center holds training courses pretty frequently.

The course will explain everything else, its a long process (took me 4 months) but in the end it was worth it.

You can get your courses Oct-22 and 23 at this place in Richmond ONt.
That hunting and fishing store at the LCBO mall where the bakery is.

That is if your serious. w:h:

So if I understand correctly, I would attend this course then write the test for the PAL and PAL-R that day? After passing the course then I can consider purchasing a weapon?

I looked on that website but could'nt find anything about a price for this course, any idea?

Thanks

I don't think you can get the R-pal with that course, call and find out.
alternative:
Dave will be giving the pal/rpal the last two weekends in Nov. (1 day each)

Very good instructor, drop him and email and see if he has a spot open.

This course is your PAL only.
They have a phone #, try calling them and ask them your questions.
You won't buy any "weapons" until the Horsemen clear you and approve your PAL, and only when you get that in the mail you can buy a "weapon".
