Bad news is now that I can get a shorty for a realistic price, well, I HAVE to.

-M14 shorty
-1000 rounds 7.62x51
-a 2nd gun safe for those of us who have filled ours to the brim!

Does anyone know if these are based off the new batch 2009 M305-B model? Is the parkerizing black on the barrel/bolt etc like the M305-B's?
