Vortex SPARC - anyone use one? reviews?

I put one on my Norinco Mforgerey and am impressed , small , lightweight and the red dot shows up well.

I have mine of my Roni Glock kit. Works well and co-witnesses with the magpul flip up sights.
It gets my vote.

I put one on my CX4 Storm, zeroed in and haven't looked back. Looks great and functions flawlessly. Purchased it from another CGN'er a few months back.

Mine's on my Winchester Defender 3-gun Tactical shotgun. I haven't shot it a lot but I like it so far.

I have one on my new AR. Only 1 trip to the range so far but I love it! I was going to mount a 1-4 scope but now I will need to build another AR to go that option and still have the fun gun!

I have used mine a bit on the 10/22, good optic, the 2 MOA dot is nice and crisp, will try it out on a 308 in the future, we'll see if it holds up

Run it and the strikefires on my AR's and CZ/ CSA's . Great optic for the money. Kick ass warranty(not that you will need it) and functions flawlessly.

Works great on my M4, great investment. Get one while the price is low. They will slowly jack there prices as there value becomes better known

I use one as pre-aligned backup on my MR-1, it is perfectly adequate for close shots and it do keep is zero very good... JP.

with all these terrible reviews about the sparc i dont know how you could waste your money on one.

seriously though its a fantastic piece of kit for the money. i love my sparc so much im thinking of getting another one.

Well it arrived and lo and behold it won't turn on. Pulled it out of the box and nothing. Changed batteries, reread the instructions and still nothing.

Well OK, maybe the batteries are pooched that came with it, so spend a few hours driving around looking for a few replacements, nothing. No one carries the CR 2354 but they can order them in, eta 2 weeks.

So...anywhoo, email sent to DS Tactical as I would like it exchanged for a working one, which would be nice.

You can find batteries on EBay. I get 10 in 4 days...

But your probleme certainly come from the Sparc

I have used mine for one day on my 887 shotgun, but I think it was a good day's worth of shooting. Probably 150-200 rounds of bird, buck, and slugs and it was well zeroed from start to finish. Loved it, and shot far better than I have with the fiber optic bead. It is the best upgrade I've applied to any of my firearms.

I have one on my SR22 with the VMX3.

Make sure the brightness is set high enough and that you don't have the night vision setting on cause you can't see the dot when it is.
Around here I get my batteries at total battery. 2 for $8.
I really like mine. Its on my AR most of the time.
