So I unexpectedly won an NEA CQB upper..

That's not NEAs job. Show me 1 manufacturer who takes close up pics of theyr rifles with the internals ? We both know those close-up pictures and internal pictures will come from actual buyers posting them, not direct from the manufacturer, just like cars, bikes, and most other mechanical devices...

I saw one of your billet uppers for sale at the Shooting Edge last week......Chatter marks in the machining, and a nasty looking little machining lip over the forward assist. Glad you guys aren't asking much for them, if that's the level of QA.

Sorry

.

First, thanks again to NEA, this has been a most welcome surprise!

Thank you to all those who responded to my questions, I feel much less like a babe-in-the-woods now :)

To those who want to be negative, go start your own threads and stay out of this one!

The NEA beard is manufactured to deliver high speed low drag performance required in tactical facial hair situations across all facial platforms.

Plus it is grown in Canada. The NEA european handlebar moustache conversion kit is already in use by special forces teams all across the EU.

One of the reason I seem to prefer full stocks these days vs. Carbine stocks is the carbine stock will sometimes catch facial hair in it. I thought this was an issue with the stock, I now know that in fact it is a result of the beard trying to arm itself.

Quit fighting it, you'll only make it mad. Best thing to do is get it it's own weapon, or at least hide ammo in it.

Your not the only one, at the last 3 gun shoot felt like I left half my mustache in my stock. Much easier to replace a stock rather than shave.
