These will be coming to Canada shortly, and should run about $899 for a complete shotgun.
It's a bullpup chassis on the Remington 870, there is also plans for a chassis for the Mossberg 500/590

There is a deflector on the ejection port so it will be left hand friendly, and the barrel length will not change but the overall length will be reduced by almost 10 inches.

That looks like fun, too bad that it can't be made here. The bullpup market could probably make thousands of Canadian jobs if you consider the export market.

Ok, I'm just trying to get some clarification from the supplier on this but....
It seems that the only thing that is removed on the original 870 Is the stock and handgaurd, and everything else drops into the frame ( including the trigger). Does this not essentially make it a stock and therefore legal?

What you just mentioned does classify it as a stock, however that stock is still considered a BULLPUP configuration, in which case is still Prohib unfortunatley...

Its deciding factor is being that the firing group is located behind the trigger group which classifies it as a bullpup style, regardless of what items/parts/accessories have been removed from said firearm, thats all the CFC is concerned about...

Even though the original 870 trigger group is unaltered and still remains behind the firing group?

Chances are the CFC is going to count the extended arm/trigger extension from the unaltered trigger mechanism of the 870 (regardless of location) to the ultimate pivot point of the new location where the user pulls the trigger and class that all as one unit by itself, in which case the triggers location is forward the firing group... thats my $0.02 on that matter, In other words whatever device is being pulled by the end user with their finger, thumb, toe, tounge, IS deemed the trigger... Ive never heard of a case of a firearm where a "device" was pulled, and then the real trigger was activated and gun goes bang... in that sense the 'device' is the trigger...

Knowing how the CFC classifies things, I wouldnt put that past them...

You could always have a sample delivered to them for clarifcation/classification, Its better then having these sold to individuals and then turns out theyre Prohibited Devices.... ie. Not good for business... ;)

The KSG, RFB and other various BP styled firearms made it through legally cause they are a integral part of the firearms design, and will not operate (atleast in theory) with the stock removed, I believe thats the reasoning behind it, maybe someone can help clarify this gray/wierd area of our Laws, but thats my reasoning behind it...

Cause in all honesty a BP is a BP, regardless of functionality with the stock removed or not, oh well we dont make the rules.... we just play by em... :D
