I have to say that was a bang on review.
I own both and I think they are both fantastic. To second what's said above.
Colt Pros: closer to real wieght, adjustable spring tension for lots of round choices, very well built, 25 round ar mags.
Colt Cons: bolt release doesnt function, harder to clean, more money, threading needs adapter to use break or fake cans.
S&W Pros: bolt release works, quad rail, cheaper, 50 round black dog drum, lighter for small or weaker shoots. (my girl is 5'3" and likes the lighter feel.)
S&W cons: 10 round ar round max, only standard velocity rounds, weight is lighter for training purposes.
both are top notch.
www.tacticool22.com is a great place to get threads and fake cans for both.
