Sorry 7mm Dad & my brother have already spoken for them :D

Its the only way to hunt Blargon ;)

Its a great place James im very luck to have it .

That is The Pinacle you see in the background Heavybullet , part of the appalachian chain .

Very nice, comfy stands... can I come and hunt with you...:D

You better have $$$ as an Ontarian, to hunt in La belle Province. We have had a cottage in the Upper Gatineau Valley of the Pontiac and take my word for it, it is not cheap for a licence. The set-up of the OP is great, with his "range" for sighting in, the obvious moose tree scrapings, the deer feed set out, fantastic, and I wish him and his buddies the best this fall.:D

I bought a PQ small game licence this year, just in case I was questioned while I shot my .22 rifle on private land (with written permission in my pocket). I do have a spot in the fall where the local men for years have sighted in their rifles on an non-approved "range." The locals, my friends, would not understand this altered quote from "The Treasure of the Sierra Madre" classic, 'we don't need so stinkin' berms, approved back stops, forget the houses within 150 yards, the school less than 1 Km...'

But 7mmlefty, if you get an invite, go for it.

All the best guys!

I did a fly in for moose in Quebec a number of years ago... it was pricy,.. Today's moose hunts are probably double what they were 10 years ago.

That "hill" in the background is called the Pinnacle. Climbed it many times in my youth and even spent the night once. Great hunting all around that area. Many apple orchards close by that deer and Ruffed Grouse love.

Are you from the area ? its unfortunate that climbing it is no longer permitted .

Yes mahony 1977, born and raised nearby. Did a lot of hunting around that area before I moved out of Quebec when I was 23. Still some of my family living in La Belle Province.
