3-gun/IDPA stuff in Quebec???

To all Quebec action shooters... How many 3-gun and/or IDPA matches do they have in a year? Really puzzled about this since it's the most anti-gun province in the country...

I thought there was some IDPA in Quebec, but from what I understand, its awfully difficult (eg, only lateral movement allowed)

Are you implying more towards political reasons... ie. the history of violence in Quebec, more particular in Montreal ... that everyone is so anti-gun that causes the lack of action shooting there except for IPSC?
