...at Elwood Epps on Saturday. A used Beretta 391 Urika 2 Parallel Target...Factory Demo in excellent shape....can't wait to get it out to the club on Sunday!

Nice gun! I used to have a couple. I got talked into parting with one. I think the PT is one of the best choices for an all round gun. I used mine for trap, skeet and sporting. I even shot international trap with it. Broke targets well but due to the nature of the international game an auto is not a good choice.

:needPics:

Too bad you set the gun on the desk and broke your camera.;)

Okay, just took some pics of the new Beretta but, it seems I don't have the ability to add attachments (it is not permitted on my account):(

Not too sure why...?? (maybe because I am new to the forum?!?)

Will post pics when I can....

Excellent choice. Good for all the sports. The 391 is the best autoloader on the market for clay target shooting and is no slouch in the field either. Couple of things about the 391 that might help are unscrewing the forend cap half a turn when you store the gun as they can seize up, keeping the gun well oiled and removing the trigger assembly when you reassemble the action after cleaning.

Thanks for the advice...!!

Two of them at our place, a 391 PT/SL and a 391 PT/RL. Both super reliable.

So .... how went the "christening" last Sunday ??? ;)

I'll have to report back on that one next week, as the weather turned to crap and although I don't mind shooting in light rain, I'm not into getting soaked...the weather cleared up a bit later but, by then I was watching football at a friend's garage and dreaming of clays...:)
