How well does that clamp on scope mount work for lefties? Perhaps somebody could try mounting it on their left shoulder and get back to me.

Is this what your front sight looks like?

Sorry diopter - didn't see your post. Yep, that's exactly what my front sight looks like. I am actually not totally sure that I can't get it mounted behind the sight now... I admit to having only examined it quickly before deciding it might not work.... if you have an idea I'd be interested in hearing.

Thanks for the lead...

got it this week and it works great.

Just one quick question:
on the elevation knobs it says: H - T; hoch - tief or hoeher - tiefer.
My rifle shot very high at the beginning, so I adjusted in the direction of T, however the exact opposite was necessary.

this doesn't really make sense, why is this so?

W&F diopter adjustments are by where the shot was.

Eample: If you shooting high at 12 o'clock, correct by turning the knob in direct H, for High.
T= Low, R= Right, L= Left.

Germanic target sights always have "bei" on each correction knob. This translates to "by". This is how you know that you must correct by where the shot was. Anschtz, Walther, Gehmann, Ruag, Grnig & Elmiger.... etc, all use this system.

Swiss Products diopters adjust as in scopes and N.A. and English target sights, in the direction you want the next shot to go.

Swiss shoots are at 300m. Likely why yours was shooting high if you were using Gp11 at 100yds if the sight settings were not played around with between the last Swiss person who shot with them and yourself with both rifles not having bedding issues.
