Hi John, could I reutrn this gun?

I changed my mind John. Since the pistol you sold me has a blemish on the barrel AND the knife bayonet you sold me is dull and doesn’t even fit the pistol, I decided I want to send them both back for exchange.

What do you have in a semi-auto .308 pistol and spike bayonet combo instead?

You took too long to answer John so I sent you a PM. Please respond.

John can I return my m305 from 2 years ago, it has too many shots down the barrel. I tried calling 3 weeks ago but you weren't open after 5, unacceptable.

Classic Threads

I do love these threads. This one is a Classic, and with a bit more effort it should qualify for the Hall of Fame.

It does give the GunNutz members a chance to show originality in their comments, along with the humorous answers and amusement for others.

However, after some very serious thought on the subject of compensating the OP for his troubles, I believe that John should NOT give the OP an SKS, but rather send a Swedish AG-42B rifle instead. That way, after tripping the bolt release, and getting his thumb mashed in the action, the OP might have something to really complain about.

(For those who have suffered a "M1 thumb", or who are not familiar with the AG-42B, it is like comparing a Goldfish to Jaws.)

BTW John, I'll forego the 12 years interest on the return of the $29.95 Lee Enfield, provided your cheque for $349.95 arrives before the end of the month.:)

Dear John. WTF … You haven’t responded to any of my posts, PMs or e-mails? I even gave you all night to do it. This is totally unacceptable! I bought a gun from Marstar and gave you my card. I thought that made us “PAL”s? Is this anyway to treat your PAL? I would take my business somewhere else if all the other sponsor’s here didn’t already ban me from their sites. Please respond John. P.s. I still want to be your PAL ;)

You should lower your sugar intake.

I posted this on the other thread too......There are quite a few threads from dissatisfied purchasers dealing with several companies. It seems the thing that runs through them all is lack of communication from both sides.. from the customer sometimes and from the seller sometimes.

No one thing appears to be the problem. I personally think that the customer should phone, follow up with an email perhaps. The companies, if they want to make maximum use of the exposure they have to us all owe it to us to have enough people on staff to deal with enquiries, fill our orders and let us know if there is going to be an issue. I personally dont care if the companies say "we are small' "mom and pop" "we have so many calls and emails' just hire the people or dont advertize on here.

Hire enough of the right people to handle your business then perhaps people wont feel it necessary to come on here and air their laundry on a public forum.

Customers, if you dont like the possible screw ups from dealing online, support your local gun store and dont do business over the net.

I have bought online about 20 times from advertizers here, only once did I have an issue, it was resolved after they came with the "we are so busy line" thats an excuse, not a reason. I have never had an issue with my local store, I know they cant match some of the prices from companies on here but I do get after sales follow up, they care about my custom and I'm not just another faceless Visa buyer.

The moral of my post? If you deal with a faceless company, thousands of km away like we do on the West Coast, you take your chances. If you want to lessen the chances of just being a faceless wallet, support your local gun store, I do.

I can't believe he's made all these complaints to Marstar and has not got around to asking John for some...

FREE LOCKTITE

Also I thought EE was Elwood Epps. I guess I was confused.

BTW what does rust look like?

Remington Jim;

The Simpsons are at least educational compared to this dude....

John

Has Marstar's iron clad guarantee taken care of this problem?

And that should have ended this debacle with no further need to embarrass and harass a customer who purchased a POS.
