ISSC MK 22 vs RUGER SR 22

Who has them both ?

Since they are within $100 in price i was looking for comparisons.




ALSO . What features makes these worth twice as much as a Mossberg tactical ?
 
I don't have either but have handled the SR22 and from wha I've read, the MK is mostly plastic but the SR22 is metal. Also the SR22 is built on a proven design with decades behind it with a reputation of reliability. Some have had problems feeding with the MK as well. I think the Mossy tactical from what I've read and my father in law has one, feels kind of like a toy.
 
I have an SR-22 and I would choose it again - solid, fun, dependable rifle
It's a little heavier than the competition, but no heavier than an AR-15.
You can change it to a completely different rifle next year when you get bored of it in it's current deployment :)

Well we will see how these SR-22 fans feel about this rifle after next years new release of a 4lbs 22LR that has the same ergo's as an AR :p
Can't figure it out???
Replace the R with U in the SR-22 name ;)

Agreed, the SU-22 is the rifle I would buy if i was in the market for a new tac. 22.. very slick!
not til next year though

haha... People who own AR180's will probably find this one attractive too...

I'd go for the SR-22. There is a wide variety of accessories so you can upgrade it the way you want. I handled the MK22, it is nice but it feels more like a toy.
