Here it is. You'll have to pardon the pics, I'm afraid the batteries were getting low. I also deviated a bit from the original plan but it turned out pretty good for a prototype
The next is a photoshop. I wanted to see what it would look like as a shorty.
After I took the pics I also darkened the handguard some.
It was an interesting experiment and I'm happy with the result. It's good and stiff and I think a shorty would work pretty good. So, off to the EE it goes.
