Well....Montucky 8400 .270 Win. Can't stand the hospital grey stock. What do ya's want to see for a stock colour?

Don't laugh out loud when you look at the mounts and scope, they are "spares" for new guns that come through the stable...:)

Why paint it? Grab one of the cheap "camo sticker" kits for it. ;)

Otherwise, if Paint is your choice ... and since it is all SS ... how about a can of the "Bumper Chrome" paint? ;)

For a "normal" color, that may look very good, I'd suggest a nice deep Maroon (maybe as dark as the Black Cherry they used on the late 80's Chevy Monte Carlo's) - Maroon and Chrome look great on hotrods,so Maroon and Stainless should work well together.

Wouldn't say Im a big fan, but his escapades are pretty darn funny.

Kimber Montana, some physcopath over on 24hr. campfire started calling them Montucky's. I just thought it had a nice ring to it.

I knew it was Kimber Montana, and after using google found out on the "urban dictionairy" it's slang for "rural areas of Montana".
Now that's funny...........

It looks OK to me. But if it'll fit my Pre 64 I'll give you $150 for the stock and you can put that toward a 75/20/5 Grey/Black/White McSwirley. Then your journey to the dark side will be complete! :D

This is what I did with mine:

Montana 8400 7WSM, metal Cerakote in black, stock has a base layer of Krylon Fusion camo olive green, with silver webbing next, then a layer of black webbing, and finally 5 coats of Krylon clear coat. Looks better in person than in the pic. The paint scheme would look cool with the factory SS metal, since the silver webbing would compliment the silver-coloured metal.

Ya Jordan the minute I got my Kimber in I thought of yours. But I can't just outright copy ours :D . I'd like to go matte black then spray silver webbing on but I can't find webbing paint anywhere around here
