I'm really considering building my first 10/22, not from a donor rifle but from parts purchased separately.

Is there a link or a list of all the parts I need to acquire? I want to do some pricing out before I get a couple hundred dollars in and figure out i have a long way to go.

Never owned a 10/22 so I have nothing to compare to, but think I'm up for the challenge of this.

Thanks Hical. I've got a very good idea of what I want the final product to be, I just need a breakdown of the parts I need to make it happen.

I'd say "go for it", but read through these forums a little first. Also, look through the EE (and watch it a while) for modded 10/22s and what they're selling for. Bottom line is this~should you choose to sell the rifle, there is about a 100% chance you won't get all your money back out of it. The vast majority of people on here realize that, but for some reason, others don't. If you're building a shooter you plan on keeping~I'd say jump with both feet! If you're looking to sell this "investment" down the road, you might have a hard time finding a buyer whose vision of a custom 10/22 is the same as yours.

all good advice, and make the EE your best freind, dont get mad when you cant get some cool parts, just the way it is with the usa these days and exporting, and dont be mad when the build hits $1000+ if your going new it dont take long!
and be warned my wife says this is a disease, especialy hen you start looking at machine shops to custom do goodies for your projects :p

Dlask receiver is planned for my 10/22 reboot.
thats what go me think about it. I really like the dlask reciever...
you will need:

reciever
bolt
charging handle
bolt buffer
trigger group
trigger pins
barrel
v-block
stock
sights
magazines

Thanks BC. now i can really map out how much this is going to cost me....

I doubt I would sell this, if anything my other .22 would go first.
I've been watching the EE for parts, seems to be a pretty good chance I could find what I'm after.

I'm into mine for roughly a grand, but its sure a show stopper every time I take it out... ( Not too often! Haha )

Have fun with it and do your homework!! Its a blast to do a build, and is addictive!
