detachable mag for swedish m96?

im tired of walking around with the ammo in the internal mag, is there any way to change this?

Trade Ex did have some for the M98. I've never seen any for the older small ring models though.

id like to see if i can get a detachable magazine.

i guess i could get a couple of stripper clips instead.

To unload put the safety in the up position and then just stroke the bolt.

It is a bit of a pain - but at least you will never lose the mag.

I would imagine if you were good at bending sheet metal you could do it. There is the retaining button for the mag plate on normal swedes, and looking at mine it would make sense if you added a tab to it to make it useable without a stick or bullet, it could be done.

i actually found a tutorial where a bolt is turned down and added where you would stick a bullet/pen/any cylindrical object to depress the button, looks like a cool quick trick.
