Tikka T3 Mag

Really disappointed when i found out that the factory mag only holds 3 rounds. Are there any higher capacity mags out there for the Tikka's?

The varmint and tac versions use either 5 or 6 round mags.

The good thing is, they are made of a "space age polymer", not plastic, and can be had for under $100.

Yes there are 5 rounders advaliable but they are sold under the Sako name for the Sako price. I think I paid around $90 4 years ago for my 5 rounder for my T3 Lite in 30-06

screw the space plastic... get a real mag well and real steel mags for it...

What calibre is your gun. I have a gun built on a tikka action and spent a year looking for after market tikka mags, or high cap mags.

My gun was a 300 WSM and 3 was the best I could find. Thats why I spent several hundred dollars going to an AICS bottom metal system, similar to the one shown above.

an AICS 10 rd 308 mag will hold 8 rds of .300wsm. Just need to bend the lips of the mag slight to allow for the fatter cartridge.
