Need load data for 45-70

I have looked everywhere without success, for load data for 45-70 Gov't 450 gr LRNFP with Trail Boss powder. If you could pm me a recipe I would certainly appreciate it.

you can do the math but it would be pretty safe to say that even 12 grains would be benign for a 450 grain bullet

These are very low velocities, much below factory loads, and while low in recoil the drop at even 100yds. will be alot.

I thought trapdoor loads topped out at around 18000 cup? 24000+cup would be for modern firearms not trapdoors. Maybe I'm wrong

From good authority in a Reloader Magazine article, it is reccommended that the older, Model 1881 Springfield (trapdoor) not be loaded over 21,000 CUP.

Actually it's a Pedersoli 1874 Sharps that I plan on using for long range side matches at cowboy shoots. I have also asked on the SASS site but, nothing for the 450 gr LRNFP bullet. So, I have decided to go with the holy black.
