Harrington & Richardson revolvers - who has one or more?

More questions about the 903 if you guys don't mind.

Since it's the successor of the 939. Do they use some of the same parts ? I like to have a manual of all my guns. If I can find a 939 one will that work. Would the grips from a 939 fit ?

Do I have anything special, 623 nickle plated, 6in barrel, pin pull to take out cylinder, 6 shot and accurate.?????

I was given a 922 about 6 months ago, it is in great shape for its age... I haven't had a chance to try it out yet as I keep forgetting I even have the darn thing!

I was given a H&R 949 9 shot a number of years ago. Nice plinker. It had a brutal double action but in single action mode it shot quite well. No longer have it, though.

I heard there is a lot of stacking in double action mode. Never heard of anyone who had done a trigger job on her to address this concern in da mode until this thread.

I purchased this one about 10 yrs back from an older fellow who bought it new in 1955. He told me the storry about shooting a deer in his yard in 1957.
He said he carried it more than he fired it. I believe him as the finish indicates that, but is still tight & fires every time. The ratchet on the cylinder is like new!
The double action pull is very heavy, but I like it for a .22.

Sure wish I could go rabbit hunting with it.....

I have this model. I think it had been in and out a holster alot as the only wording on the right side left is FLECTC. Shoots great.

I have a 5&1/2 barrel model 676 with a 22mag non recessed cly,that will shoot 22lr,

22short,22WRF,22cb any kind of 22 cal round . You can even mix match them,and

you will only know the difference from impact and sound. The 22lr is healed bullet

so it is basically the same size as a 224 mag bullet (bullet inside the case) so there

is good accuracy . And a geat SHTF pistol as you will allways be able to find some

form of 22 ammo.
