How is the Millet TRS-1 ?

I really like mine. I have since moved the TRS-1 to another rifle, and my .204 now wears a Sightron 8x32x56

One thing I will point out, is that while I find the optical clarity better in the Sightron Scope, the Mil-Dot, and the actual reticle of the Millett are more accurate for holdover, and scaling of targets.

If I have one complaint about the Sightron, that is it.
 
i have one , maybe i got a lemon i dont know, but its about 1/2 as clear as my buddies DMS-1, it was originally on a 223 but as soon i have the cash for better optics its being demoted to a .22 cuz i dont think its worth putting on somthing else...

that or my S&B ruined me for any thing less :/

have a feeling the S&B is at fault :D
 
haha yes it probably is, but the trs-1 still fails in comparison to the dms-1 of my buddies and even my bushnell 3200, the only reason iv kept it this long really is the x-hairs are nice and fine which i really enjoy
 
I bought mine a couple of months ago, and have had it out for sight-in, and 2 hunts so far. I think it's an absolutely awesome scope for the money, and nothing I saw in this price range came close...including my Elite 3200. Crosshairs are very fine, clarity is superb, low-light clarity also excellent. My only criticism would actually BE the tactical-look it has, but I like all the features so much (incl. the reticle) that it was an easy decision for me. Looks the part on the new rifle though. :)

Actually...thought of one more criticism~the ridiculously cheap/ineffective pop-up scope caps they included. Difficult to open, the rear one is a bit of a loose fit, and the "cap" portion OF the rear one doesn't open far enough. Touches your face and/or jams on the brim of my ratty old ball cap. Butler creek caps will be on mine soon.
