And I hate you right now.

On the upside, my mags from Wanstalls arrived so there is that.
I didn't figure how much of a weight difference there would be between the steel and thermold ones. It's quite noticeable.
 
To those lucky SOB,s that got theirs already ...are the front sights on straight or are they leaning , how do the rear ones feel ?

Front sight is straight but adjusted to far right. Rear sight is solid but difficult to adjust (stiff to turn). Seems well set though.

Hard time getting barreled action back in stock and trigger assembly to click, but that's to be expected. And it's my first m14, my experience with this action is limited to mini14s. Though so far they seem very similar.

The safety is incredibly (almost unusable) stiff. Will have to look into that, or hope that it wears down.

Great impression so far. Seems very solid and well built. Everything but the stock lines up very well.

Need ammo! Have no .308 at all as my stash is all back east from where I moved! Might have to hit CT tomorrow for a box or two and hit a logging road.
