Shorty M14 presale + .308 ammo deal

Now that I've had a chance to clean all the gunk out of it and fiddle with it a bit:

  • Front sight is straight; post is sitting pretty much dead center. Rear sight is solid, and stiff to adjust, but seems to work properly.
  • The safety is incredibly stiff. At first, I actually thought it was broken. Getting it onto safe is a chore, but it clicks back to fire easily enough.
  • The action is VERY stiff - hopefully it'll lighten up a bit with use.
  • The trigger is awesome - very smooth break. Can't wait to shoot it :)

Plus, I need them for my AIA. The AIA is a nice rifle, the mag's multipurpososity (multipurposeness?) is a bonus.

I think you should offer a cosmo removal for $20 next time, I'll take it. Forgot all about since it's been 2 years when I sold my 305. What a mess!
 
NO cosmo... Just oil! :)

The friggen trigger mech is in there TIGHT! Stock to action fit is super tight too..but its alllll good! Front sight is straight and pretty much in the middle. Action is a little gritty, but it's like every other 305 I've owned. Mags lock in well, and look good.

Plastic stock is a little cheesy feeling, but still light years better than CHU! :)

Very pleased with the rifle... For rifle and 1000 rounds of ammo for $840, I doubt I could do any better!

Obviously range reports will trickle in, but I'm guessing guys will be VERY pleased with thus purchase!
 
Taking a step back and actually looking at the list, I've realized how many rifles they've actually shipped in a very short period of time. I almost wouldn't mind if they decided to take a day or two off and catch their breath.
