Hornady Seater Crimp Die

Hello all,

Can the same Seater die be used for the same calibers (ie 308 30'06)? by just changing the depth of the die?

Is 303 and 308 the same caliber on a thousands of an inch scale 7.7 vs 7.62? Can the same seater crimp be used on both?

oh sorry just found the answer to the 303 question 303 neck is .312 not .308

Will the 06 case go in the die far enough to crimp it?
