Ever look into the STKinetics CPW submachine gun, the Mexican FX-05 Xiuhcoatl, the Singapore Technologies Kinetics SAR-21?

those would be awesome as well. especially the sar-21.

the type 81 has little to no operation similarity to any ak variant from what I have read on the internet, the gas system is basically a slightly modified sks gas system, its almost an sks-svt hybrid from what I understand.

Well, it appears it is noted to be a copy of an RPK, So I apologize. There is VERY often people on this forum commenting on things with little to no proof and very little understanding of the laws. Maybe Tactical Imports should look into this since the rifle is clearly not a copy of the RPK.

We are aware of the note. The design is most definately not a copy of the RPK. The note will prove irrelevent when a sample is submitted for review

I would definitely be interested in a type 81, but would wait for a review before putting money down. Just because its between a cz858/vz58 or type 81. And I would want to make sure that this rifle is worth the extra money over a VZ58/CZ858. Although aesthetically I like the type 81 more.

Type 81 is a modified SKS that looks like AK. SKS mag has a grove in the middle of the back of the mag. That's why initially, they didn't fit. However, I believe chinese changed the design and 81 is now uses AK mags.

Kalashnikov mags are not compatible with the 81

Quick updates:

Floro MK9 turned out to be very expensive. We'd have to retail at 1600 a piece if we wanted to make any kind of profit; our own cost is above the original estimates for retail price! I don't think we'll be pursuing this one unless the price drops significantly.

Type 81 price is confirmed to be as estimated; we are just waiting now to see if the factory is ok with semi-auto only and the modifications to the bbl to 470mm
