Hi back to gunnutz after a bit of time off doing flt training.

My buddy and I shoot clays a lot and try and out do each other target shooting 200m or so.

I'm looking at buying a 30-06 Winchester 70 for a hunting rifle and target shooting now and again.

Any thoughts?

My Father bought me that same rifle when I was 14 or 15. Still have it and still use it for hunting over 30 years later.

Check out the prices on Mosins and SKS rifles. You will never see prices as low as what they are now. Same goes for ammo. Complete sh*ts n giggles in a gravel pit.
