I've been reloading with a single stage for a while but I'm diving into progressive. I've got a couple of questions about my procedures, however.
I'm going to be loading .223 Lake City brass, which has a crimped primer pocket.
Here's what I had planned on doing. Le me know if this makes sense.
I'm going to run them all through my SS decapping/resizing die.
Then run them all though my SS with a primer pocket swager.
Tumble them to remove all the oil
Then run them through the progressive as normal, but I will remove the decapping/sizing die since I've already done it. There will be a stage there where the bullet just sits there but whatever.
Does this makes sense? I've never loaded with a progressive so let me know if I'm missing something.
Cheers.
