Just thought I'd share. Over the years, I've acquired bits & pieces for gear for reloading, but with one thing & another, I never really got into it. FINALLY it all came together; time, finances, components & equipment. Like most reloaders, I'm experimenting still. I have some small experience from stuffing our own with a buddy, and now I have my older brother's experience to draw on. My main object was to work up some good deer loads for my .303 British, and my M77 .308 Ruger. I forgot to get pics of the load I have for my Lee Enfield, but here's what my Ruger did today at Silverdale. The load is 165 Gr. Sierra Game King HPBT #2140 sitting on top of 41 gr. of IMR3031. In the No.4 Lee Enfield, I was shooting 150 Gr. Hornady SP Interlock #3120 and they produced slightly tighter groups than the pics. I think I'm set for deer season. Comments or observations are more than welcome.

i will say your definately on target with your groups, slight adjustment for POI and u will get your venison

Thanks Powderfingers, but the height is intentional. According to my drop tables 1" high at 100 yds. puts me 1-1/4" low at 200 yds. with this load. That means I'm covered with no hold over or under for a one shot drop at up to 200 yds. Since that's the max distance I'll have for a chance at a clean shot where I hunt, I'm confident that if my game gets into my line of sight, I'll nail it clean.
