Hey I was wondering if anyone in the Edmonton area who is good at reloading 30 06 and wouldn't mind helping me out. I have a bunch of brass and some bullets, but I really cant spend a bunch of money on equipment since I really only intend to load a few cartridges every now and then. Is there anyone willing to load some for me? I am more then happy to offer something for trade.

I dont mean to rain on your parade, but asking someone to load ammo for you is very TABOO!
First, the person who loads it for you would have to assume any and all liability if any injury/death occurred. Thats not fare to them.
Second, its illegal,
Your best option is to get into reloading yourself.
If you can find some One who will lend you thier equipment,& or help you do it yourself.
Reloading is suprisingly fun, and rewarding! I most certainly suggest that you try it!

It is not illegal if OP goes over to the friend's house with a six pack and helps with the reloading while they share a beer.
OP, not only does helping out eliminate legality and liability issues, but you would get to learn how to reload if you decide to get into it at a later date.
As for expense, you can buy a Lee Anniversary kit for a bit over $100 and it will turn out perfectly functional ammo without needing anything extra, aside from the reloading components themselves and a set of dies. You say you only want to load a few rounds now and then, but that $100 investment will pay out in ~200 rounds of loaded 30-06 and you are then set up to load for any calibre with only a new set of dies required.

yeah, I got recommended to just buy the basic lee loader set from a few peoples, so I think I will just do that, and thanks guys I appreciate the feedback. I agree that getting my own set up is be the best thing to do here, I just wasn't sure. Thanks again guys

If that is the road your going down get some 165 BTSPs with IMR4350 you'll get yourself up to the 2700 fps mark 55gr to start or the same with H335 and a CCI250 primer 47gr to start.

I was pointing out how OP could have someone reload for him legally without investing in his own set up. I do agree with you that doing his own reloading is the best long term solution.
Bringing beer is a sure way to get invited back around here.
