Not really sure.
Just curious guys, which ammunition does your CSA vz58 in .223 like to eat the best. The more opinions the better!.

You feeding them mostly surplus 5.56?, is the chamber throat long enough to not worry about pressure spikes?.

I have fed mine everything from 5.56 55 grainers to 75 grain Amax match loads. It shot them all well. I had exceptional accuracy with Hornady 60 grain soft point handloads. It is nice to not have to worry about corrosive ammo with this one!

The best performing bulk stuff (so far) in mine is the American Eagle 55g fmj (black box-100 rds/box). Haven't tried any match stuff yet, except for my "mexican match" stuff, which so far hasn't grouped any better than the AE stuff in this rifle.

A close second best bulk ammo was Winchester "white box" 55g fmj

I've shot winch 62 gr fmj and Swiss Raug 62 fmj as well, and the groups are worse (but still ok) than the 55 grain weights in all the brands I've tested so far.

Shot about 1300 of AE 55gr...no issues. 500 of the mfs 55gr fmj, no issues but it is pretty dirty stuff. Just recently tried the hornady steel match 75gr stuff and I think I will stick with this load in the future, about $0.50/rd compared to $0.43/rd for the AE, but that 75gr HPBT explodes reactive targets like melons quite nicley!

No accuracy issues with the heavier 75gr's?.

Can't really vouch for accuracy of the 75gr as I'm running an aimpoint right now, tempted to throw the 3-9 burris back on to see how she shoots. As mentioned, the 1:7" twist should handle the 75's quite nicely. Best grouping I got with the burris and AE 55gr fmj was 4 rounds into .75" with a flyer opening it up to 1.5". Average seemed to be about 3"
