Yes but useless.

One hand firing can be done, but the gun is so heavy, it's realy hard to use the sight. It's not so heavy but all the weight is in the V system and in the barrel. So it's off balance compare to a AR-15.

I fire 200 round with my brand new Kriss at the club tonight. No malfunction, my only problem was with the bolt stop and my over size hand. I press the bolt stop when I fire and the bolt stay open. Better to use a front vertical grip.
 
i got to handle one at wolverine in red deer. Its like composite death waiting to be unleashed lmao. feels wickedly awesome in ur hands. then the clerk whacked himself in the head with the barrel lmao

i just shot one in georgia--gun club walkin.
FULL AUTO...:D:D:D

the good: accurate and feels solid and handles good...

the bad: this was a range gun so...

mags were crapola modified glock mags (i told the r.o. the mag was no good so he brought out a better one..it worked better) 32 rounders i think.

gun was VERY dirty and dry as a bone.
i asked for breakfree and he (ro) got some breakfree.

result... jammomatic (every mag until the final couple mags)

i should have shot the p90 full auto.
the ro apologised and said it wasn't his favorite gun.

i got offered the p90 to shoot for free(i pay for their ammo) but the wouldn't
take back the .45 and replace it with 5.7(about the same price for 50 rnds.)
 
I am wondering if that was a full auto that burst the barrel. Those 6 rounds would take a second of trigger pull

To the best of my knowledge, a squib will not have nearly enough power to cycle the action. I feel the gun was manually cycled and the owner was somehow unaware it was happening or unaware of what a squib round is.
 
kevin's theory does make sense, a squib wouldnt cycle my 1911, but I have no experience with the Kriss's crazy dampening action

Mine arrived today and had a yellow "mesh" on the barrel shroud (???). Did yours come with that too? Just curious?

I'll have some pics up this weekend with some of the KRISS's cousins (other Carbines and treats that have accumulated in my safe).

Yup. Just there to protect the barrel shroud from scratches during shipping.

Very unlikely, but as I don't know all the details, I won't rule it out.

All I will say is that the bolt on my Kriss is far stiffer then the bolt on my 1911, and I have had a squib with it one time, and it is more of a "pfft" then anything else. No recoil, it just feels like a misfire with a small noise.

As well, squibs are usually caused by having no powder in the case, so it is just the primer forcing the bullet slightly down the barrel. Doesn't seem like enough pressue to cycle the action, but again, I don't know all the details.


User error seems like the likely scenario though.
 
If they make these in 9mm that take Glock mags, I'll probably buy two.

Although buying one in .45 would be a good excuse to get a Glock 21 or 30, as it always seems so wrong to only own one firearm in any given caliber. :)
