Well this was my first attempt at customizing a shotgun, and as such, I was hoping to get some feedback as to what some other shooters think. Not to everyone's taste I'm sure, but I sure love it! Took some tooling around for my first attempt, but I am very happy with the overall fit, and look. Cycles nice and smooth, yet nice and tight, so I can't wait to break her in over the weekend and test the feeding and ejecting. As soon as that is all worked out, I plan to send if off to Cobra Imaging to have the remaining blacked out parts (scope as well) changed over to camo as well for a stealthed out camo look. This set up is the most comfy shotgun to date that I have handled. I added a Nikon ProStaff shotgun scope ( 2-7X 32 ) with high rise rings and sight aquisition is superb for me. Can't wait to get out and run some 3" through it!

lol! Wow, now that's a compliment! Yes sir, the Rem 870 SureShot turkey special stock set really looks trick. Looks sort of like a new generation Druganov stock set in camo. Comfortable like you can't imagine. :D

And yes, the entire gun will be in Mossy Oak Obesession camo when complete. I will have them do up a bunch of mags in camo as well when I send everything out.

lol!!! i got one too mine looks close to the same! but no pic's yet still out at the cabin! going to give it a test in 2 weeks!

Remington Sure Shot Stock

+ cantilever & Ported Ithica barrel

Nikon Slug Hunter 1.65-5×36

let us know What luck you had with 3" ?

wow, It looks great!

I'm a fan of all things camo. I was thinking of having my m4 camo'd but not sure...

Thanks, I am sure your m4 would look great in camo. I was thinking about the same thing with a few restricted rifles. Sadly though, knowing I can never take them hunting kinda feels like a bit of a tease. Looks awsome for a display though......

Well I must comend you sir on your outstanding style and taste! lol! When I got mine together, I couldn't put it down it felt so damn good! How do you find yours? Mine works great for my height, etc.

I'll let you know about the 3" cycling after I get it out on Sunday. This receiver looks pretty smooth, but I will likely wind up polishing it next week anyhow. Depending on how it feeds 3", I may also stamp the followers to get a better angle on the shell but that will all depend on what this one does when I shoot a bunch of shells through it.

Wow...way to think outside the box! Looks great! I know my friend took some time to get his grizzly reliable, but that is pretty sweet! Do you have to pin the mag to hunt with it? Here in Ontario anyhow we can only have three shells. With a tube we can just put a dowel in to block extra shells from loading, but I am not sure what would be required with a magazine.

Thanks for your comments. Well, in it's current configuration, it is set up for big game with a 20 slug barrel. So it meets the 5 round requirement. However, if I swap out the barrel and install the 28" waterfowl, then I have to follow the 2+1 rule. Not sure though as to how I will pin them. I still need to find out if it needs to be a permanent rivet style pin, or if I can use a nut/bolt. Any body that knows the answer to that please feel free to chime in.
