.32 acp chamber adapter

Some gun shops won't sell you the ammunition if you don't have a 12(6), as "all firearms" that use it are 12(6). You would likely need to bring your adaptor and explain.

I have found inexpensive ammo (usually Eastern European) for under $20 for 50, which is definitely not in the same league as 30-06. At gun shows, $10/box if you pay attention.

.32 ACP is pretty snappy. Slows down? I have fired it out of a 20 inch barrel and didn't find that. That was a .308 adaptor though. Definitely quieter than shooting it out of a 3 inch barrel.

thanks a lot , very helpful!

My friend is the fellow who made those adapters. I have one in .308 Win, .300 Wby and .300 Win Mag.; I have never had a problem, nor even heard of one, with stores not selling .32 ACP unless you have a 12(6).

The one thing you should know is that all 32 auto, except the Hornady XTP, is RN FMJ and it slips through a grouse very quickly. You should still aim for the head or hit the backbone. I learned this the hard way.

Had an adapter that used .32ACP in a 30-30 was accurate enough to head shoot chickens at 20 yards.Several deer and a moose got a finisher in the noodle as well.Harold

The one I had was made in Montana purchased from SIR. http://www.mcace.com/adapters.htm these are suposed to be good and they have an Alberta importer.Harold...............gunshops have no business asking you what the ammo is for as long as you have a PAL

The guy who made them here in BC stopped making them quite a long time ago.
