SR-25 EMC Finally Arrived !

It was months in the waiting BUT worth it.

It comes complete with a Night Force 2.5-10x24 glass with the mounts and even the zoom lever.

Came with only one mag but will be getting more soon.

The 2 stage 4lb trigger is very crisp, I cant wait to try it out on the 300m range.

Tested it out with PMC 308 ammo at the 100yrd range to dial in the Night Force. Ammo was blasting out huge fireballs so I changed over to Hornaday Match and no more fireballs.

Want to thank Target Sports for all their great service btw !

Note no forward assist ! Its a designated as a DMR and they dont get them.

The detail in the barrel is amazing - note the dimpling that was machined out.

I like this SR 25 so much that an order for a SR-15 is going to happen. Got to make it a matching set ! Stay Tuned !

Anywho I'm jacking thread, I dealt with Joe and Paul at Target sports great dudes. Spent way too much for one gun but I'm loving it. All in it was $6700 for the rifle and $1200 for the glass, the bipod was stolen from my Ruger tactical target also from TS.

I love my SR-25 - worth every penny!

The iron sights are very nice as well. I just recently got mine also and had it out last week. The first 5 shots through it nailed the gong at 100 meters. Tried out the sighting target supplied with it at 25 meters, and it was 2 clicks each of windage and elevation for the 200 yard zero to be spot on. Quality workmanship most definitely.

My AR10's I had were not designated as DMR's and they had no forward assist.
DPMS have no forward assist.

Except the DPMS SASS and the Armalite SAS which are both DMR's and they have them.

Who told you they have no Forward assist because they are Designated DMR's? Is that what the sales guy told you when you asked why there is no forward assist?

Forward Asssit is becoming standard on the .308's now. POF has them, so does RRA. Armalite is now making theirs with the forward assist.

Maybe our resident KAC guy can answer?

No SR-25's have forward assists.
The ejector takes over 60fl/lbs for overcome -- impossible for a thumb actualled device --- we made several prototypes of forward assists - and then the Army finally agreed with us (over 20k SR-25 series guns in government service down here)...

All our KAC is bought from the official distributor - One Shot Tactical

I guess it's okay...mainly for people in the US though because here we can get the obviously superior norinco m-14.
