Has anybody any experience with these 147 flat-point bullets that Marstar has on sale at the moment?

I'm looking for cheap plinking ammo for my sub-2000.
I got a ton of empty brass and these look like a nice match.
I have a few different pistol powders, so I figure something should work.
Or should I go for a lighter weight for the 18.5 inch barrel of the sub-2000.

I would also use these in pistols at the range for general "spray and pray" mirror commando action.:D

I am not a fan of 147 gr for the 9mm but some guns seem to shoot really well with them. I use 700X for the 147 gr, when I load them up occasionally when the price is too good to pass up. My standard load that functions well in my P226 and my S&W PPC9 is 3.2 gr of said powder but any fast pistol powder will do, like WW231 and some others.

I've shot about 8K of these bullets and love them. They feed perfectly in every 9mm I've tried, and print very well. They are a really consistant bullet in my experience.

I've shot about 2000 rounds of the flat nose 147 (frontier, winchester and combat masters), and Ive only had issues with it in the Norc M213 (tokarev copy). Everything else, theres been no issues, goes bang, makes a hole in the paper.

"147 flat-point bullets that Marstar has on sale at the moment?"

As explained in the special, these were bullets that got damp due to water infiltration in one of our storage buildings.

We had some 9mm 147grs and some .40cal 200grs

We only had about 50 thousand 9mm, they sold in two days....

We had about 60 thousand .40 cal, almost all gone....
