This is my second post as a CGN member although I been in the shadows for some time (and I would hate for it to be a negative post, but...) ...I will say that my experience dealing with Badger arms was the most incompetent 'online purchase' I've had. I've had better dealings on ebay buying from HongKong...f:P:2:

I wish i would have read or searched out the forum about them prior to my dealings...I assumed because they are a sponsor on CGN that they must be credible.

About the facts, I ordered a shotgun, a 22lr, extra mag, and a gun case. They quoted me free shipping but charged the shipping...They quoted me 30$ on the gun case but billed 39.99$. And the best part was when my ordered arrived it was only the 22lr (which was an impulse purchase while I was on the phone with her completing my shotgun order). When I called to notify her that most my order was missing she said "OH, I wasn't paying much attention to the order when it went out". I was actually shocked she said that
I asked about the refund on the shipping charges and to remove the gun case from my order as it didn't arrive, (at that point the refund for shipping she promised me the week before hadn't been done). For the next 2 weeks I had a tough time getting a hold of them and getting a straight answer about the shotgun and the additional mag I ordered. I couldn't a straight answer from her no matter how polite and patient i was, so I moved on....
Fed up with the run around I canceled the order and contacted VISA. I never did get the refund on the shipping charges nor did I get the shotgun I wanted and I lost 3 weeks of my time dealing with the whole mess.

I learned a valuable lesson...To think I chose to deal with them because the shotgun was 30$ cheaper than other places...never again, now I will only deal with reputable dealers especially when purchasing a firearm online.

Since then I've purchased several rifles from Trade Ex Canada, and I will say Anthony @ trade ex is a true professional and runs a classy operation. Order, pay, and receive the tracking number same day! What more can a guy ask for, now that is how a business should be run!

you might want to check with Lebaron, was actually holding the .17 in my hands this afternoon and put my name on the wait list for the 22LR. Beautiful gun and feel. And if you haven't seen it in person, that octagonal barrel is very cool and the brasswork is quite nice. Fingers x'ed for pre Christmas.

I was in the market for a .22 LR Golden Boy too, I checked LeBaron Markham a few weeks back and they only had it in .22 WMR. I'm in no rush to buy a gun yet, I'm waiting until after the registry gets scrapped, but I may just consider getting on the waiting list. FYI to the OP, I called Ellwood Epps last week and they mentioned that they still have six .22 LR Golden Boys on the shelves.

At $ 488 bucks they may be there for a while.
